Treatment of a wide range of conditions

2

Advanced and selective technology

3

Greater therapeutic efficacy

Discover our solutions for therapeutic apheresis

We offer advanced systems for plasmapheresis and therapeutic apheresis, performed with the PlasautoΣ device by Asahi Kasei Medical. This automated and versatile system is ideal for apheresis therapies, selective removal of plasma components, and continuous renal replacement therapies (CRRT).

Thanks to pre-assembled circuits, preparation and priming times are reduced, while automatic fluid control ensures a precise and safe treatment. The system minimizes blood-air contact, reducing the risk of contamination and coagulation.

With advanced functions such as automatic plasma recovery and the optional integration of a citrate pump, PlasautoΣ represents an innovative solution to improve the management of patients undergoing therapeutic apheresis.

Advanced apheresis kits, designed to significantly improve the quality and safety of apheresis procedures, consist of specific and dedicated devices for the treatment of more than 90 diseases.
Among our solutions are the plasma component separators Rheofilter™ ER 4000, Rheofilter™ XR 4000, Cascadeflo™ EC e Cascadeflo™ XC by Asahi Kasei Medical. These devices are used in selective Double Filtration Plasmapheresis (DFPP) procedures in combination with one of the plasma separators (plasma filters).

Rheofilter is available in two versions with a single membrane surface, while the Cascadeflo™ EC component separators are available in eight models with different pore sizes. This allows the appropriate filter selection for effective removal of target substances while keeping albumin loss to a minimum. These features help improve the effectiveness and safety of selective apheresis procedures.

In addition, two adsorptive columns are available: one for neurological diseases, IMMUSORBA™ – TR350 (L), and one for the removal of bilirubin and bile acids, PLASORBA™ – BR-350 (L).
